I am from a small town in central Louisiana where I learned woodcraft from my Uncle Kidd. At a very young age, I began to build things. My Mom used to say that I knew “the spell for making”. She also told me, only once in a generation was this gift passed on. (Cajuns are very superstitious.)

Be that as it may, I do enjoy making things – especially from wood.

I worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative for over 30 years, and now I spend much of my retirement time making things. Though woodworking is my main hobby, I also enjoy making a variety of crafts. Take a look around the site and see if anything inspires you to begin “making”.
